Presentation in Congress “Reading the Middle-Ages”

Photos from my presentation during the International Congress “Reading the Middle-Ages Today” that took place June 22nd in the University of Minho, Braga. I talked about the medieval sacred soundscape of Évora from the writings of two late-17th-century Jesuit priests about Évora: Manuel Fialho and Francisco da Fonseca.

After the keynote conference, there was a brief musical moment where I explained and performed the Vespers antiphons for the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, from a 13th-century Franciscan convent.
